New Traditions. We are so excited to offer a seasonal new year's discussion Good Grief Workshop just two weeks after it becomes 2026. It goes without saying that this time of year is a bit dramatic. It can be an especially trying time for a variety of reasons. Holidays and new years can be more emotional for those who have experienced grief: whether by transition, change, loss, etc. One way to cope and even rise above the cold and hard to handle sensations is to develop a new relationship to this time of year.
For this workshop, we will discuss and brainstorm the concept of ‘new traditions.’ We will tap into our childish selves (still there inside) to create a colorful greeting card and/or letter to a loved one. Then we will open the floor to our regular beautiful, open, flowing (and usually quite FUN) conversation about whatever comes up: grief as well as the potential of connection in this time.
Colorful paper and pens will be provided as well as cushions to sit on the floor, and tea. Please bring any supplies that you feel called to. A journal can be helpful. This non denominational workshop is open to all who find themselves ready to share or simply listen. This is a safe space to approach the multifaceted experience of grief.DATE/TIME: MONDAY, JANUARY 12th FROM 5-7P
